Intro

OTSO vi half gasteiz would like to invite you once again to take part in the middle distance triathlon festival in Vitoria-Gasteiz and Alava. We are faithful to our idea of continuing to show you as participants, companions and public, a different point of view of our province, with demanding routes, but very close to everyone. We want to be close to you who live with passion every pedal stroke, every stride and every stroke of this sport, but also to all those who decide to visit us to accompany you, to share, to enjoy, or simply to get to know this unique land where to come is to be, and where to be is to be. We invite you to be part of this third edition of OTSO vi half gasteiz, to be and to be part of this territory for a few days. Share with us our craze for sport, for good gastronomy, for nature, for the beauty of our landscapes and for our Basque culture. Don't let them tell you about it, live it!

OTSO vi half gasteiz is still committed to showing participants, companions and the public a different point of view of our province, with demanding routes, but very close to everyone. The natural pool of the Ulibarri Gamboa reservoir, in the Garaio park, will once again be the first point of contact with the scenic beauty of the province of Alava. There, the triathletes will be able to dive into the warm waters of the reservoir and spectators will be able to follow this fabulous 1,900 metre course from the shore. The cycling sector will cover the plains of Alava, bringing the triathlon closer to the incredible and majestic villages of Alava with a spectacular route of 90 kilometres and a cumulative elevation gain of almost 700 metres. And to round off this unparalleled triathlon, the running route will run through the streets of Vitoria-Gasteiz. The final half marathon will start from the area of the universities, and then run for 3 laps one by one through the emblematic streets of the medieval quarter, where once again the Aldapa slope, undoubtedly the highlight of the race, will be present and where family, friends, fans and the passionate people of Vitoria-Gasteiz will be able to push the runners with their encouragement and carry them on their backs on each of the climbs until they cross the finish line in the Plaza de los Fueros.
